Born in Ulverston, Cumbria, I moved to the North-east to begin my teaching career. Having always had a desire to paint, it was not until 2000 that I put brush to canvas.
Inspired by Richmond's history, people and traditions, I began to paint in my own, unmistakable style. The quirkiness of the paintings combined with the bright colours are proving a successful combination reflecting my personality and sense of humour.
In 2008 I moved back to Ulverston
